What You Will Need-Grocery List
- Rolo candy
- Pretzels (I prefer the Snyder’s Snap Pretzels)
- m&m candy (holiday colors)
- Pecan halves
- White Chocolate melting chocolate or wafers
- Festive nonpareil sprinkles
- Baking sheet with sides
- Parchment sheets

How to Make Rolo Pretzel Bites
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. and add parchment paper to a baking sheet with sides.
- Place pretzels on the parchment lined baking sheet (approximately 40-45 should fit). Unwrap Rolo candy and place on top of pretzels.
- Place in oven and heat for 3 min.
- Remove pan from oven and immediately press m&m, pecan or another pretzel down on top of the Rolo.
- Put the baking sheet in fridge for approximately 15 minutes to chill and harden chocolate.
- If you are making the chocolate dipped Rolo bites, dip half of the chilled Rolo bite into melted chocolate and lay back on parchment. Top immediately with festive nonpareil sprinkles and allow chocolate to harden.
- Store Rolo Pretzel Bites in an air tight container.
Tips to Make the Most Perfect Rolo Pretzel Bite
- Be sure to only bake the rolo pretzel bites for 3-5 minutes max. I only bake them for 3 minutes to make sure they don’t melt too much. They will continue to bake when they are removed from the oven while on the tray.
- After pressing the m&m’s, pecans or pretzels, immediately put the baking sheet of rolo pretzel bites in the fridge to start chilling.
- If you want to dip in chocolate, chill the bites first before dipping. Add sprinkles before chocolate hardens.

Variations to Rolo Pretzel Bites
The easiest way to make Rolo Pretzel Bites is to use an m&m candy or add a pecan to make an easy turtle. But, dipping in white chocolate and adding sprinkles make such a fun addition! Following are a few other variations!
- Use other miniature candies like Hershey Kiss or Reese’s peanut butter cup.
- Use different flavor m&m’s like pretzel, peanut butter or peanut.
- Use walnuts or almonds instead of a pecan for the turtles.
- Dip the Rolo Pretzel Bites in dark chocolate instead of white.
- Add nonpareil sprinkles to the top of the pretzels before chilling instead of dipping in chocolate.
Final Thoughts
We’ve been making these little treats for as long as I can remember and they are a Christmas candy must have in my opinion! They are one you will want to make these Rolo pretzel bites more than just at Christmas. Add some red, white and blue m&m’s for the 4th of July, pastel colors for Easter and orange for Halloween!
