I just take them out of the freezer and let them thaw in the fridge overnight. Let them rise in a warm spot for at least an hour or until doubled in size and bake accordingly! When I found this snackle box I knew it would come in handy for all the kids snacks and treats, but what better way to use it than to make an instant ice cream sundae bar! I added mini M&M’s, mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, Heath bits, cherries, mini dried marshmallows and caramel and chocolate syrup.

We had so much fun making these ice cream sundaes! The babies loved getting their own toppings and the snackle box was the perfect way to store them! No need for all the different bags, bowls and jars!

Freezing garden tomatoes is so simple when using this vacuum sealer! Just wash and dry your cherry tomatoes and core any larger ones. Add them to a food storage bag and seal! It’s as simple as that! I added herbs like parsley, oregano and basil to some of my tomatoes to make homemade pasta sauce throughout the winter! The Weston Pro-1400 vaccum sealer made quick and easy work of preserving my garden tomatoes in the freezer! Freezing tomatoes is also the easiest way to remove the skins prior to making sauce! I love making pumpkin bouquets each fall with the late summer flowers from the garden! You can make them with fresh or faux flowers and pumpkins! Below is everything you need to make your own pumpkin bouquet at home.

For this arrangement, I used a foam carvable pumpkin from @michaelsstores…but you can use a real one if you’d like! Just note…if you use a real one, they won’t last long once carved😉. You want to get a wide mouth canning jar or plastic container that is the same height as your pumpkin to place inside to hold your stems. Use a sharpie and trace around the mouth of the jar (upside down) over the stem and cut out a hole for the jar. For this bouquet, I used flowers from my landscaping that will dry well..such as a hydrangea, sedum and astilbe spikes. You can also use faux florals. If you’re using fresh flowers, be sure to add water to your container! If you’re using faux or dried florals, it will be something you can sit out on your table now until Thanksgiving! Have you ever made hobo packs? I’ve been making

Have you ever made hobo packs? I’ve been making these since our girls were little. They have always been a family favorite! I typically use boneless pork chops, but you can make these with just about anything! They are so simple to put together, they are done in about an hour and the best part….very little mess! The full recipe is below…Give these a try and let me know what you think!

Pork Chop Hobo Packs

Boneless pork chop
Diced potatoes
Baby carrots
Seasoning of your choice (I just use seasoned salt, pepper and sea salt)
2 tablespoons butter per pack
1/2 teaspoon all purpose flour per pack
Worcestershire sauce (I like to add just a little)
2 sheets aluminum foil per pack approximately 12 in long

Preheat oven on 350. Spray one sheet of foil and place pork chop on foil and season. Top with potatoes, carrots, butter and sprinkle with flour. Fold the foil tight and add second piece to ensure a tight seal. Add packs to a baking sheet and Bake on 350 degrees for 1 hour.

We love making these easy ice cream cookie sandwic

We love making these easy ice cream cookie sandwiches and with the summer like temps hanging around, it’s the perfect time to make a batch of Oreo icecream cookie sandwiches!

I used a pint size container of Oreo Ice Cream and cut the Ice Cream into 4 equal slices. I made a batch of my Oreo chocolate chip cookies and put an icecream slice between two cookies. For best results assemble the sandwiches and place into freezer to set before serving! They are so delicious and could not be easier to make! I’ve shared my Oreo chocolate chip cookie recipe below! Be sure to save and share with a friend! Let me know if you try them!

Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 sticks unsalted butter (room temp)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 12 cookies or so)

Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl add dry ingredients and mix well. In a stand mixer or large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Add In vanilla and mix again. Slowly mix in dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips and crushed Oreos. Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, scoop rounded dough onto a parchment lined cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake on 350 for 10 min. Allow to cool for a couple minutes on baking sheet before moving to a cooling rack. Enjoy!!

Who doesn’t love pumpkin bread, cinnamon butter

Who doesn’t love pumpkin bread, cinnamon butter and the Gilmore Girls? Full recipes are below! 🍂🍁

Pumpkin Bread:
2 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups pumpkin purée
4 eggs beaten
1 cup butter melted and cooled
1/2 cup sour cream or sourdough discard
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
Cinnamon sugar topping:
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Cinnamon Butter:

1 cup butter softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Place butter, powdered sugar, honey, cinnamon and salt in a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until well combined and slightly fluffy.

Pumpkin Bread:
In a large mixing bowl, mix together sugars, pumpkin purée, melted and cooled butter, beaten eggs, sour cream (or discard) and vanilla. In a separate mixing brown, mix together flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Slowly mix dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture, ensuring there are no lumps. Pour mixture evenly into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Top each loaf with cinnamon sugar topping. Bake on 350 for one hour or until a knife comes out clean from middle of bread. You can also use parchment paper in place of grease and flouring the pans. This makes for easy removal and cleanup! Serve warm with cinnamon butter…YUM! Enjoy!
