Mini fruit pizzas are the perfect dessert to have

Mini fruit pizzas are the perfect dessert to have for Father’s Day, 4th of July or your summer bbq’s…and SO EASY to make! These little mini pizza’s are topped with our favorite fruit dip and a yummy strawberry glaze! So so good!!

The recipe is below! Hope you love them too❤️

🍓Mini Fruit Pizza’s🍓

INGREDIENTS:
1 roll sugar cookie dough or break and bake sugar cookies
7 oz marshmallow cream
8 oz package cream cheese
1 carton strawberry glaze (optional)
berries/fruit of your choice

DIRECTIONS
1.Preheat oven according to directions on cookie roll package.
2.Cut cookies into half inch thick slices if using the roll of sugar cookie dough. Bake according to package.
3.While cookies are baking, cream together cream cheese and marshmallow cream to
spread on top of cookies.
4.Once sugar cookies are cooled, spread on top. Place fresh berries on top.
5.Best served same day.

Making your own freshly ground hamburger patties is easier than you might think with the Weston electric meat grinder and burger press! Not only was it so easy to grind the hamburger, the burger press made the perfect patties that held together so well on the grill. I used a combination of chuck and sirloin to give the burgers the perfect amount of fat and flavor! I also used the Weston professional french fry cutter to make homemade fries…I’ll never want them any other way now! So so good!

Instructions for freshly ground hamburger patties are below!

Freshly ground hamburger:
Your choice of chuck, sirloin and/or brisket. Cut meat into 1 inch thick strips and run through the meat grinder. Once all meat has been ground, run it through the grinder one more time. Form ground meat into evenly sized balls and place into parchment lined burger press. Season patties as you would like prior to cooking! Enjoy!

We love making these easy ice cream cookie sandwic

We love making these easy ice cream cookie sandwiches and with the summer like temps back again, it’s the perfect time to make a batch of Oreo icecream cookie sandwiches!

I used a pint size container of Oreo Ice Cream and cut the Ice Cream into 4 equal slices. I made a batch of my Oreo chocolate chip cookies and put an icecream slice between two cookies. For best results assemble the sandwiches and place into freezer to set before serving! They are so delicious and could not be easier to make! I’ve shared my Oreo chocolate chip cookie recipe below! Be sure to save and share with a friend! Let me know if you try them!

Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 sticks unsalted butter (room temp)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 12 cookies or so)

Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl add dry ingredients and mix well. In a stand mixer or large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Add In vanilla and mix again. Slowly mix in dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips and crushed Oreos. Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, scoop rounded dough onto a parchment lined cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake on 350 for 10 min. Allow to cool for a couple minutes on baking sheet before moving to a cooling rack. Enjoy!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!! I love a good restaurant style salsa and a homemade version is even better! I found this recipe years ago in one of @thepioneerwoman cookbooks and the ingredients has been a staple in our house ever since! It’s so simple to make…it’s mainly a dump recipe!

1 28 oz can whole tomatoes
1 can original Rotel
1 can mild Rotel
1 jalapeño (I remove rib and seeds)
1/2 cup diced onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cumin
Cilantro to taste
Juice of 1/2 lime

In a blender/food processor dump cans of tomato and Rotel (including juice). Add onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice and spices. Blend until consistency you prefer…I don’t like my salsa too chunky! You can serve immediately and store in a large mason jar in the fridge! Enjoy ❤️!!

🍳Starbucks Dupe Egg Cups🍳

We’ve been trying to hit our protien goals and if you’re trying to do the same, you know it’s HARD! These little egg cups have 14g of protein per cup and are so yummy! The recipe I make is below, but you can add whatever meat, veggies and cheese you like! The secret ingredient?!? Cottage cheese! Just blend the eggs and cottage cheese up together and no one will know it’s in there😉! Also…don’t skip the water in a baking dish. It creates steam which makes the egg cups the perfect consistency! Hope you love them as much as we do!

Egg Cups:
8 large eggs
2/3 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup Fairlife milk
1 cup shredded cheese of your choice
1lb ground sausage browned and drained
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

•Preheat oven to 300 degrees F and spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
•In a blender mix eggs and cottage cheese. Mix in browned sausage, milk, cheese and salt and pepper.
•Pour mixture into prepared muffin tin filling about 2/3 full.
•Place a baking dish with water on bottom rack of oven and muffin tin above.
•Bake on 300 for 30 min. Allow to cool before removing egg cups from muffin tin.
•store in fridge until ready to serve! Enjoy!

🍌Vanilla Protein Banana Bread🍌 1 2/3 cup al

🍌Vanilla Protein Banana Bread🍌

1 2/3 cup all purpose flour
1 full scoop vanilla protein powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3-4 overripe bananas mashed
2 large eggs
1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (I used @chobani zero sugar)
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate chips (optional)
Nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large mixing bowl add dry ingredients and mix well. In a separate large mixing bowl mash bananas and add beaten eggs, honey, Greek yogurt, applesauce and vanilla extract. Mix well and slowly incorporate dry ingredients to banana mixture. Pour mixture into a parchment lined loaf pan. Bake on 350 for 60min or until knife comes out clean from center of loaf. Remove from pan and allow to cool a bit before cutting. This recipe should make around 12 servings with around 5 grams of protein per serving. Add chocolate chips or nuts if you’d like! Enjoy!

Cheers to the weekend!!! Let’s make a strawberry bourbon lemonade to celebrate!

I made a homemade strawberry simple syrup for this cocktail by cutting up a cup of strawberries and boiling them with 1 cup of sugar and one cup of water. I strained the strawberries out and put the syrup in a jar in the fridge! Here’s the recipe for the cocktail…let me know if you give it a try!

1 oz strawberry simple syrup
2 oz bourbon (I’m using @hardtruthspirits Sweet Mash)
4 oz lemonade
Crushed ice
Lemon wheel for garnish

Mix all together in a sugary rim cocktail glass or mix in a shaker. Serve with crushed ice and a lemon wheel!

My latest obsession?? Homemade ranch dressing! It is THE BEST! Once you try this recipe you won’t ever want the store bought stuff with all the weird ingredients again!

My recipe is below! You can adjust the spices based on your preference. I like to mix everything in a wide mouth pint jar with a lid and shake until mixed well. For the best taste, let the ranch dressing sit in the fridge overnight before serving.

If you love ranch dressing, give this a try and share it with a friend ❤️!

Homemade Ranch Dressing
1/2 cup good Mayo (@dukes_mayonnaise is my go to)
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon dill
1 teaspoon chives
1 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoons fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1-3 teaspoons lemon juice…according to taste

Add all ingredients to a wide mouth pint @ballcanning jar and mix well. For best taste and consistency, allow ranch dressing to sit overnight in fridge before serving.
